I enjoy challenging myself with my paintings as well as playing with colors, textures and techniques without restrictions. My mother always told me not to be afraid to put paint on my canvases. With that advise, I find that painting is extremely relaxing and fun for me. I love listening to the Escala Radio Station on Pandora One with music like "300 Violin Orchestra" by Jorge Quintero as I often do when painting my abstracts.

I prefer to be genuine with all aspects of my life.
With my photography, I find that there are some shots that need to be planned and thought out while others that are happenstance at the right moment and time. I like to plan a place and time, but try and let the environment and characters do their thing. Then I capture the moments that happen as I can.
Photoshoots
These are the shots that I dragged my daughters, nieces and nephews out to play in different settings to see what pictures might come out of it. Fields of daisies, old country driveways, lakes, golf courses (they enjoyed rolling down the hills), beaches, parking garage roof tops, downtown settings and neighborhood features taken for granted.

Sunrises
I am not always up early enough or if I am, I don't have the time to stop and take the photos that beacon to me. These are the few that I had the time and opportunity to snatch. It amazes me how where the sun rise itself happens varies so much over the course of the year.
Sunsets
I have found that sunsets are wonderful opportunities to have fun with family and friends. We enjoy coming up with multiple angles and filters of the same time and place. It is amazing to see the variations and the excitement of sharing our results with one another.
