Our Girls

This site is in part for them to share all of their many talents and to give them an outlet to express themselves.

Alex

Alex has numerous talents in many areas of the arts that include sketching, creative writing, comics, painting, singing, acting, and modeling.

Jessie

I enjoy books, fashion design, sketches, creative writing, comics, singing, and acting, as well as gourmet cooking, baking and pastry arts.  

I plan to go to college to become a baking pastry art chef.  

I am also really into Creative Writing.  When I write, I feel like I am creating other worlds. Like the book Inkheart. Its amazing and people say I have a talent for it. 

My sketches are mostly for when I am bored.  I am always working on how to draw a certain aspect of cartoons or sketches.  

I enjoy painting water colors as it is a challenge for me.  I love to create something new that isn't already out there.

Marina

I have fun painting abstracts.  

I like to draw pictures to make people laugh.  

Baking and decorating cookies makes me happy.

I really love dancing and singing.

We have fun sharing in our creativity with our daughters; creating images and writing that makes others and ourselves happy.

Shauna's Summary

It is my goal to publish works of our own and those close to us that enjoy creating something new.  Art comes in many forms and mediums.  We have fun bringing something to life from the blank page or canvas, and enjoy sharing our visions and thoughts with others.

Chad's Summary

Chad is surprising in so many ways.  He took an Art Appreciation Humanities class for college and while he really doesn't like to paint himself, his final project was impressive.  A 9 x 12 drop cloth became a brick wall that he combined both Jackson Pollock and street artist Banksy styles onto.

He has an amazing perspective for how he looks at art and life in general.  

When I became challenged with a photo contest at work, he joined in the fun.  His photos are playful with filters and settings on his iPhone mostly. He has a wonderful vision for what is the right shot.
